Creative Director, Visual Design

Neil Cooper is Creative Director, Visual Design at SapientNitro. His role is to lead the visual design team and help to create and develop the quality, thinking and craft in the creative work by enabling a culture that puts storytelling at the heart of the studio. Neil works across SapientNitro’s European offices to galvanise, guide and inspire the company’s creative approach, ensuring they deliver the best ideas and meticulous craftsmanship for the experiences they create for the world’s top brands. 

Neil has worked on campaigns for brands including British Airways, Barclays, Colgate, Microsoft, Orange and Nike to name a few. He joined SapientNitro in April 2015 from his previous position as Design/Creative Director at Radley Yeldar, where he led a team of designers to create and deliver immersive brand experiences across multiple platforms on integrated accounts.

Following an MA in Fine Art, Neil began his career in 1999 at He then spent five years at AKQA, followed by 10 years working for integrated agencies, including SAS Design, Bostock and Pollitt and Addison Group. Neil has been awarded various UK and European plaudits for his work over the years including Red Dot, BIMA, Revolution and Design Week awards.
