Single Malt Scotch Whisky Packaging

Named the ‘Headland of the Great Seas’, the Ardnamurchan peninsula is a rugged and timeless volcanic (extinct) outcrop, the most westerly mainland point of the UK.

Nevis was briefed to design the packaging for the joint launch of Ardnamurchan’s first West Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Single Cask bottlings.

The packaging design draws upon the rugged beauty of the landscape and reflects this in the use of an understated graphic style, volcanic colours and natural textures. 

Sustainable and recycled materials were utilised to convey the Distillery's eco credentials and illustrate the fully transparent Whisky journey from field to bottle. 

The final packaging design evokes Ardnamurchan’s mantra ‘Taste the Story’ and it’s position as a unique West Highland Whisky.
