Rod Gillies has worked in the drinks industry for over 25 years, from running student unions and bars, to developing innovation for some of the UK’s biggest drinks brands. He is now Global Brand Director for The Dalmore single malt at Whyte & Mackay. Rod thinks the best marketing happens when robust insight meets creative bravery, and he is passionate about the value of design, particularly in packaging. Rod is the Chair of the Marketing Society in Scotland’s advisory board, and away from the world of work he is a semi-professional LEGO builder and an author.
