Becky Orlinski

Young Designer of the Year

Becky is a creative designer whose portfolio has been described as a 'kaleidoscopic exploration of creative experiments'. Primarily working with digital collage, she is passionate about the importance of 'trial and error' and continually strives to broaden her technical knowledge as well as her approach to narrative and story-telling. Not afraid to tackle the important questions in life, her portfolio is full of aesthetically pleasing pieces that hold deeper meanings than you might realise. Throughout her career she has been featured in online magazines including Creative Boom, Little White Lies and Dodho as well as taking part in solo and group exhibitions. Her work has been stocked by independent shops, and she has been selected as a guest speaker for several creative events. In addition, Becky is the Brand & Design Manager at ThinkPR. In this role, she supports clients across the globe with brand positioning, graphic design, marketing and PR. Her ability to interchange her design skills fluidly between two highly contrasting styles is something she is proud to have achieved so early in her career. Seperately to her work as a designer and marketer, Becky is an advocate for other creatives and has successfully run events and markets designed to give others an opportunity to promote and sell their work. She has recently launched Kind Regards Club, where she aims to utilise her design and marketing knowledge to create a platform to showcase freelance designers to studios and businesses across the country.
