Summary

The launch of Royal Enfield’s Flying Flea marks a pivotal moment for the iconic brand: Its first electric motorcycle. But how do you bring that blend to life in a launch event, showcasing urban appeal and blending modern electric mobility with the timeless spirit of Royal Enfield? That was Royal Enfield’s question to Too Gallus.

Taking over Aures London, we used 270-degree screens to craft a truly immersive experience - capturing the essence of the urban landscapes where the Flying Flea thrives as a modern city bike and personifying the feeling of driving it. Visually articulating a feeling of lightness, of being in a flow state with a new generation of electric motorcycle.

Our night began by transporting guests around the world, plunging them into the core brand cities of London, LA, Delhi and Tokyo. Full room projections of nuanced and well researched footage built a visually rich tapestry of life in the city. Busy streets, Chinatown, the bustle of Soho and independent cafes in London while the dimly lit backstreet izakayas contrasted the overwhelming neon signage of Tokyo's Akihabara district.

As the night evolves so did the visuals, perfectly capturing the electrified essence of the Flying Flea. Pulsing animations incorporated design cues from the bike itself and subtly signal brand language. This wasn’t just a product reveal - it was a sensory experience, blending visuals and sound to create a festival-like atmosphere, with the Flying Flea as the headline act.

We combined Houdini CGI, 2D animation, and Touch Designer to create over 100 original animated assets for an ever-evolving display that matched the energy of the evening. From the calm, exploratory moments to the exhilarating, high-energy sequences, every visual transition was carefully choreographed to enhance the overall experience.

Attendees weren’t just passive viewers—they were part of the journey. They had the opportunity to touch and explore the Flying Flea up close, allowing them to connect with the bike both through immersive visuals and the tangible, physical product.

This launch wasn’t just about unveiling a new bike—it was about showcasing the Flying Flea as an embodiment of the future of urban mobility, blending heritage with innovation. And with its scalable design, the experience is set to be recreated at future events around the world, ensuring that the Flying Flea will continue to resonate globally as both a symbol of electric innovation and a nod to Royal Enfield’s timeless spirit.
