This Victorian villa in Eskbank, Midlothian, was in good condition, with a mature rear garden, however the main public rooms were at the front. The property had an original one storey extension at the rear, which housed a kitchen, numerous pantries and a conservatory – all on different levels. The property is set within a row of two storey Victorian terraced houses and had previously been subdivided into 2 flats and was in poor repair. Our project returned the property into one large family home, restoring the property to its former glory whilst also extending and reconfiguring to create new flexible spaces, more suited to contemporary life.
